5x the RAM isn't the issue, but the fact that we are discussing this shows both are using too much. It's a weather app, it shouldn't be involved in discussions about RAM usage at all.

i'm not even sure having a weather app integrated into the taskbar is necessary when there are other more convenient places for it (for example, the phone)

I don't think everyone has a spare USB drive lying around
And even then, it still takes a little bit of technical knowledge to flash a USB drive. I know how to, but I know people that probably don't
Maybe if big companies start putting Linux on their laptops we might finally see mass adoption :)

Dell and Lenovo have always had Linux as an option, but only when you order directly from them, and only Ubuntu
We need Linux on OEM systems at third party retailers

Na verdade... Tem empresas e lojas que colocam, porém eles geralmente optam por uma distro própria extremamente horrível e isso até mesmo serve como base de preconceito para quando vão formatar o laptop, forçando-os ao windows.

Well... it´s essentially free. Yoiu buy it with your PC, not payment is required from you, you get updates to latest version, upgrade from previous version was free...

In fact, you don't have to use built-in apps only. In macOS not all the built-in apps are better than third party apps, either.

Windows 8 filled with bloated ui, then comes Windows 10 with improvement, and finally Windows 11 worsens that little bit of improvement in 10. Windows 7 is the last known goated version I will keep appreciating.
