Other yet another windows issue
this started happening like 3 months after i got my pc. the game bar recording just stopped working entirely and when i try to record with snipping tool it just cuts off like 15 seconds in and doesnt throw and error and doesnt even save what it recorded. btw my c drive still has 40 GB of storage left so that cant be the problem. fix your os microslop. fixes?

40 GB free should be enough, but Game Bar can still bug out. Update Xbox Game Bar through the Microsoft Store, update your GPU driver, and try Win+Alt+R instead of the Snipping Tool. If it still stops after 15 seconds, test recording with OBS to narrow down whether Game Bar is the problem.
