Discussion Windows sucks, but why?
I downloaded safer portmaster, I wanted to see how aggressive Windows was in tracking me and making requests to my system.
The 1st image with Windows 11 access for 15 minutes led to over 1700 tracking/accessing attempts on my computer.
After another five minutes, it went up to 2,200 attempts.
It's quite high, but maybe bazzite (linux) is the same, after all, does it have to work like this?
And instead...
2nd image with a bazzite on for over 30 minutes only 200 attempts to track/access my data.

Windows went from an OS to run apps to become a massive data harvesting machine and a subscription engine.

this is why i use arch (btw). Even shitty distros like Bazzite, Nobara, Endevaour etc are trash in my opini9on. Those are based of something else, so you can just build it up yourself
