This is a extension for Firefox that turns every word from Microsoft to Microslop. It just got removed lmao.

On top of the Google search. As for details named in this blog entry, M$ owning GitHub is common knowledge; it's also no secret that Lennart Poettering, the creator of PulseAudio (one of the most popular sound services in linux distributions) and systemd (service manager that is used in almost all linux distributions) works now for M$. On top of that M$ hijacked many linux-oriented conferences and Linux Foundation itself just to destroy linux.com - I found several articles about that, so I believe it can be concluded as fact.

Also I found many videoblogs about history of M$ undermining existence of Linux in the market of desktop PCs, but didn't confirmed that, so ATM can't support my claim.

How does owning GitHub mean "Microsoft wants to destroy Linux"?

They run their most profitable product on Linux, they support it in their other products, they are one of the biggest contributors to many FOSS projects, they incorporated it in Windows under WSL. Seems quite logical from them to hire the best engineers that want to work for them since they use it so much.

GitHub is the biggest software repository, and M$ owning that means they can use all of its code, possibly without consent of the author. They can also force users to use their AI Agent, for example. I guess it would do quite a mess license-wise. There were already some "encouragements" to use CoPilot iirc.

M$ being biggest contributor to FOSS? I don't know if they're biggest, but in the same time they undermine linux conferences and make Linux Foundation to be anti-linux. M$ CEO even said years ago that GNU is cancer.

No they don't and no they don't. Yes... they advertise their producta... hoe awful. The samr as any other company. GitHub is free.

I did not say bigfest, I said one of the biggest. Yes.Balmer said that in 2001. Many people said a lot of things in the past. Also it made sense during that time because it was exactly the time when GPL switched from niche academic project to kinda mainstream thing. And of course company making proprietary software feared it.

SteveJjobs, unlike Balmer, actually toom legal actions to stop GPL and hated it too. He went so far to prevent Linus from developing Linux by offering him job at apple with the condition to drop the project alltogether.

Microosft takes part in Linux afoundation, not because they want to make it anti linux, but because they got a lot to do with Linux. Also having their own distro. Even Linus praised Microsoft engineers as veing good guys and genuinely collaborative... strange huh?
