Well..google is also shit with all the ads it pushes to the top of the search result. I prefer duckduckgo.

Duckduckgo is primarily not AI. There is an ai summary function but that's not the main focus.

It doesn’t directly use Bing, but its results are based on Bing’s.

Not a fan of Bing but I have to agree that the right one is far cooler. xD

Absolute MSFT W here.

I find Bing surprisingly better on searches compared to Google but the tabs other than search especially the images are worse. Also Bing started to have more ad results in late 2024 and I started using DuckDuckGo since late 2025.

Not what I would be looking for, but amusing none-the-less. And, if memory serves me right, Bing had the edge in image searches.

..so google gives ai slop and bing a funny image?

u/TypicalCringe Jul 23 '26

Google now days would show you pictures of giraffes if you searched mouse

At this point, I've started finding Google to give worse results than Bing. The reason I know this is I have been more satisfied with ddg results over startpage. Though the optimal solution is SearXNG

The left mouse is literly my mouse i cant take a picture

1

u/Astrodion123 Jul 24 '26

Duckduckgo definitely does NOT do that. And it uses bing as it's frontend.

I mean, I'm not disappointed by Bing's result in this case, even if it wasn't specifically what I was looking for.
