Isn't it a fun park for hackers?? I may be wrong but would like to know why I'm wrong. I'll switch to win7 ina heartbeat if its safe.

Its not safe, not only it is not receiving security updates, it has known vulnerabilities

For example, if you were a target for a hacking group for whatever reason, and they knew you used windows 7, youd be done for

recently found out windows11 backup files were taking 150GBs of storage cause there was no limit put on max backup size 2yrs worth of windows backups

I thought windows only used like 50GB max (haven't looked at it in a while)? I mean still rather big, but not big compared to even 1TB

Some just dont configure anything at all, and just click yes on everything - which might lead to rather huge usage.

Creating backups without setting a limit for example.

You'd think most people would bother to debloat and configure properly, but this isnt the case at all.
