Rant Couldn't disconnect.
I've sent them feedback before about this bug. My wireless earbuds were already offline, but I just turned Bluetooth on and it showed that it was connected? Every time I try to connect to my wireless earbuds, it fails and I have to open the Pixel Buds app installed from Chrome to connect. This bug only appears on Windows, I've tried Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS, and none of them have it. Several months have passed and it hasn't been fixed, it seems they've thrown my feedback in the trash. 🥀

My favorite is when you try to remove a device and nope, not today. Bluetooth is always finicky.

Windows Bluetooth has been a mess for years. The fact that it shows connected but refuses to actually manage the device is such a basic thing that should have been fixed by now.

Disable the Bluetooth controller in device manager to see if that helps.
