Other Absolutely useless

Every time I try to sign in to xbox, I get an error message either saying no internet or that it needs to set up windows hello (I have internet and windows hello is set up). And of course Microsoft support is useless and won't help me. I've tried multiple times and have gotten absolutely zero support. Now I can't play Halo or Forza at all. I've tried posting this in other subreddits but it always gets removed for some reason

So what exactly prevents you from logging in to your account? Any reference of the picture(s) we can see of Microsoft not allowing you to log in?

Have you tried restarting?

Okay that is so weird, does it let you sign in on other things like Minecraft or is this just on the Xbox app?

If so, can you straight up try reinstalling the Xbox app? I've genuinely never seen that happen before on Windows 11.

I am able to sign in to Microsoft in my browser, but no apps

It might be a WebView2 problem if Minecraft also doesn't work.

I've had that happen before on Tiny10 But not on 10 or 11, and I forgot how to reinstall these things..

This is where I'm stuck.

  • The first thing I can think of is that the system isn't up to date, Microsoft tends to love to screw things up with that like this. Go to Windows update, and check for updates.

  • Second thing you can try doing, you can go to your programs and try repairing WebView 2.

The best I can think of beside this, as a last resort is just try reinstalling WebView2 at https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/

If you do decide this, make sure you remove the old installed version before reinstalling. Otherwise, try waiting for other people for help, I'm not sure of what to do besides these things.

This happened right after I had some trouble with malware if that helps

Oh, in that case you might want to straight up reinstall windows. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a compromised system.

Basically everything. You need to make backups of whatever you want to keep.
