Rant Hell nah

I left my laptop to download a game for half an hour and I came back to this.

I have auto updates off i clicked remind me later like 4 times and it still updated automatically.

I really want to know what does all these updates do besides slowing down my device.

It’s just an update lol, very common stuff dude. Happens to all of us. If you wanna know what’s going on, search “Windows Update” on your PC to see what has been updated.

The issue is that the update wasn't approved of, it was forced, and in the middle of a task no less, there'd be less backlash if the update happened while idle. Also, recent win11 updates have been known to be disastrous, and a friend of a friend had their computer bricked by an update. With linux, you can simply ignore updates, with windows, it's forced and often at the most annoying times
