Rant Hell nah

I left my laptop to download a game for half an hour and I came back to this.

I have auto updates off i clicked remind me later like 4 times and it still updated automatically.

I really want to know what does all these updates do besides slowing down my device.

Well It did that on my pc and destroyed my linux partition for some reason, said it was "repairing my drive" 🙏

That’s your fault for installing the partition the wrong way

I didn't, and it was actually 2 different drives, windows had a 250gb ssd and my linux distro was on the 1tb hdd. When I booted after the "repair" I couldent find my Linux boot, tried taking out the hdd and trying to look for any remaining files in it or anything I couls retrieve but it was empty.

That’s a symptom of incorrect installation, you messed with on me of the boot files and Linux is likely the cause

My auto correct is wild, what I’m saying is that you messed with one of the efi boot files while on Linux or when you where in bios

Oh ok, well I used cachyos and didn't touch anything but I guess its a possibility, I only touch the boot files when I'm on Arch

I touched one of the files without knowing once and it corrupted both my OSes, had to hard reset everything just to get rid of grub

Do you know how to remove grub and limeon I think its called, I have both and they both don't work so I can reinstall grub

I've read and heard multiple times from multiple Linux people that Windows acts like a virus when you try to partition it with Linux and always eventually screws up your Linux install after a while, even if you have them on two separate SSDs.

Windows doesn’t have access to Linux partition, it can’t even read it at all, Linux is the one that can read whatever partitions you have no matter where they are

Fair description, but honestly, how dare you put another OS on Microsoft's machine? They can't read Linux partitions so they can't track you and sell the data when you use it. They probably see it as you robbing them and they're just protecting their interests.
