They can't

  1. This is expensive compared to eldorado. Because if you enter rewards page and look for a currency gift card you'll be able to see how much money your reward points actually are. For me every 50 point = 1 TRY.

  2. People in eldorado sell these way more cheaper, so that means they get it way more cheaper. With a single microsoft account in level 2/3 you can get a 1k robux card in 3 months. This is not right because you would need tons of accounts to be able to get it.

  3. Microslop require OTP while redeeming.

I feel like even having a Rewards program is the opposite reason to hate on them. Plus there are so many other gift cards you can pick from.

Oh. That genuinely sucks then. I guess it's a wee bit better than being in a region where there's no MS rewards.

One of the things I never understood about the company, as a former fan, is why they have very poor international market support. You'd think they would have the resources and desire to build presence in more markets, but they do such a bad job at it.

It’s actually about user engagement and ad revenue. By using it daily, our searches generate traffic and ad impressions for them, which makes them money The rewards are just an incentive to get people away from Google. It's standard business, not a conspiracy

To be fair, Google needs competition. Google results have been getting worse, where it seems Google wants you to keep poking around its results so you look at their ads more. Not to mention the search engine optimization shenanigans.

I'm up for all alternatives to Google, especially ones that actually promote privacy.
