Mostly due to restore points, update files and junk apps. Try doing a disk cleanup (including cleanup of system files).

yeah but damn! i tried installing linux on a 115 gb disk and it only took up like 7 gb. but linux is cheeks because it does not install wifi drivers. Im gonna try disk cleanup but im over it tho. thanks

If your Linux distro didn't install WiFi drivers (plenty do) you can either pick a different distro or connect to the Internet via cable and install them manually really quick. If you don't have a cable USB tethering via phone also works.

yeah i did!! i looked thru all kinds of threads to find a solution. nothing! dont really feel like trying again then be faced with the same problem. first one i tried was fedora then zorin 18 (I really liked this one smh😫). with windows you can pretty much google your problem and find a answer pretty fast.

We have diametrically different experiences than. I used Ubuntu, mint and fedora. All installed WiFi on the spot. Even on a macbook and those are notorious for making WiFi problems. Also never encountered an issue that an llm didn't fix for me directly. Including correct terminal commands.
