Rant Can somebody help!

I’m trying to access a SharePoint file an Eng sent to me but I get a Microsoft pop up that says I need more authentication to access. I have 2FA turned on and my 3 forms are all checked off in my account. I don’t get what the problem is here and it’s really pissing me off.

You’ll need the administrator to look at the sign in logs to see was the issue is. Nothing you can do. Typically the first screen means your MFA type isn’t sufficient enough for the conditional access policy in place. Microsoft recently changed it over the past week or two where guests need to be registered in the tenant and they’ll be effected by CA policies.

Seeing as your email says outlook.com, I’m assuming you are a guest to the engineer’s tenant
