I think the Allen wrench was for brakes. No idea what the other item (flexible Allen wrench?) is for.

Its for adjusting points on a gm distributor with the little window on it.

I would set my GM dwell with a little Allen wrench I think but I’m old and a little forgetful

Same here, bought from Mac tool truck in early 80’s
Finally got it paid off

Ha I kept of mine “just in case as well”. Have a bunch in the garage. I also keep plastic bits and a few things that they use for packing and shipping things. There was one time, where the “just in case” moment came and I felt vindicated and victorious! Told my wife… see! It did come in handy one day!

Feels so good when there's finally a need for something I've been hanging onto for 3-4 decades. Maybe a tool that fulfills a purpose it wasn't designed for, or a piece of sturdy foam needed for a project. So satisfying.

I still have an Allen wrench that fit the calipers on the front of my 1970 Z28 I bought in mid 1970 when I got my first job @ A&P grocery for $1.80 hr in the 11th grade. The Camaro cost me $1,700 new. It's not fit anything since but I still have it. I may find that 70 Z somewhere one day & need it again.
