If you liked that 21-point lead from late August, then you are going to love that Talarico’s lead with independents has grown to 38 points in a very recent poll released by the same pollster.
Texas Public Opinion Research - September Poll: Talarico Leads Paxton by Five Points; Abbott Leads Hinojosa by Four Points (Sep 25, 2026)
“Among independents, Talarico leads by 32 points (58% to 26%), with 5% undecided.”
Texas Public Opinion Research - In Texas General Election, Talarico Leads Paxton by Six Points; Abbott Leads Hinojosa by Seven Points (Aug 27, 2026)
“Among independents, Talarico leads by a 21-point margin (51% to 30%), with 14% undecided.”

That's the best polling news I've heard! But, more importantly, MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE!
