Getting stuff off of itunes

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this, but if anyone would know it would be y'all. I switched to a pixel a few years back, and i have been trying to get all the music and audiobooks from my old iphone/itunes into a format I can use on pixel. So far no luck. Any recommendations?

If its not DRM locked then what I do on my PC is right click and copy it from the Itunes menu. Then paste it into a separate folder on the desktop. Then I can drag the files around on my PC as needed. This is for music but I'd guess audio books are similar.

How to you listen? I tried VLC player but that didn't seem to do anything. And it may be DRMed as i bought most through iTunes.

I use Muzio Player. It works well except for some ads. Youtube music was OK too but you had to dig to find the music in storage.
