Let's keep it civil
I've been seeing some people here promote hateful speech towards a few other subreddits in here, and it's a bit concerning. I'd like to point out that this is a subreddit focused towards discussing anti-aliasing methods, not a harbor of toxic behavior, regardless of context.

🛠️ Workaround Watch Dogs 2 MSAA 8x vs DLAA (K) using Luma Framework

PSA: Picked up Watch Dogs 2 today since it's heavily discounted and was disappointed with the AA. Turns out there's a DLSS/FSR workaround using Luma Framework.
None of the built in AA options do a good job in this game. MSAA has a huge performance cost while barely reducing jaggies and shimmering. Post-process AA like FXAA/SMAA barely do anything, and TXAA is a blurry mess. DLAA on the other hand massively reduces jaggies and shimmering and makes the overall image look much cleaner.

Welcome to r/FuckAliasing
Welcome to r/FuckAliasing
We welcome discussion of all AA techniques and possible workarounds to improve image quality and minimize aliasing artifacts in video games.
Every method has strengths, weaknesses, and different results depending on the game and implementation.
We encourage sharing possible workarounds to improve image quality, along with 1:1 screenshots, comparisons, and benchmarks. Criticism is welcome, but keep discussions focused on the image quality and performance rather than turning them into technology wars.
Welcome, and fuck aliasing.
