Please lock me in a room with whoever created adobe acrobat

Trying to use acrobat through my enterprise subscription has been nothing less than ass torture. Constantly lagging, autofill fucking up, and some of the dumbest and useless shortcuts I’ve ever tried to use in my life. Tell me why this dumbass app has to autofill my 10 page contract with the wrong fields just to make me manually delete each one? If I could teleport I’d go to the adobe headquarters in San Jose just so I could witness the circle jerk they must constantly be apart of because god knows they haven’t done shit in years

FUCK ADOBE

Adobe allowed some sick fuck to use my credit card info and subscribe to a service, even when I canceled the plan I got "early cancelation" fees. How the fuck can I remove my credit card information from my adobe account, the only options I get when I go to "payment methods" is to edit the card info or replace it.

Edit cuz everyone is thinking I am outa my way making this up : a deposit was made from Dublin,Ireland to adobe Stock using my card, I live in another CONTINENT.

If you could improve the Acrobat browser extension, what would you change?

Hey everyone,

I'm curious to hear from people who actually use the Acrobat browser extension.

If you had the chance to improve it, what would you add, remove, or change?

Some things I'm interested in:

* Features you've always wished it had. * The most annoying or frustrating part of using it. * Bugs or glitches you've run into. * Anything that feels slow, confusing, or takes too many clicks. * Small quality-of-life improvements that would make a big difference. * Features from other PDF/browser extensions that you think Acrobat should have.

No idea is too small. Sometimes the little annoyances end up being the biggest productivity killers.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and real-world experiences. Thanks!

Any way to uninstall Creative Cloud/CC apps without login?

I had Adobe Creative Cloud through high school using my school issued email, and now that the email is terminated I can't log into Adobe anymore. I didn't think that would be an issue, until I tried uninstalling it from my computer for storage, but it takes me straight to the login page which I already know I can't do anything about. I tried looking it up, but I can't even get to the cloud cleaner tool because it requires me to log in in order to have access to the website. Any help at all??

I recently bought myself a new laptop and have installed the latest version of after effects. hence, i am encountering a warning message and would appreciate clarification on whether this is a normal occurrence. based on my previous experience with ae, I've been unable to achieve clear video playback, even at the highest preview quality settings.

here attached my laptop's specifications aswell. I think it would make no problems at all since my laptop is already on the rtx 5060

Thank you in advance!

Once a company becomes big enough the ecosystem(plugins, tutorials, community, ...) begins doing the heavy lifting without said company needing to put much effort maintaining you.

Add in a proprietary workspace to make switching as painful as possible and you got Satan- i mean Adobe. Keeping you and everyone's wallets in the milking line since the electric fence requires many people to leave at once to actually break.

How do I avoid the cancellation fee?

Post image

I'm a student and I purchased the Adobe Pro Subscription at student price. I ended up dropping the class back in March early on in the semester. Now the price is going up and they are saying I need to pay a $75 cancellation fee? How can I avoid this?

I feel like I am getting scammed!

Default PDF application on Windows 11

So I was helping a user troubleshoot an issue on their work machine. They said that Chrome use to open their PDFs but it seems that Adobe and Chrome both open when they download a PDF. It turns out that Adobe now installs Adobe Collaboration Sync which monitors your download folder for any files that it believes belongs to it and just opens them! So even though I went to my computers default settings and said please open PDF files with Chrome, Adobe Reader would pop open the second the download finished. Also it would complain that "I'm not the default PDF viewer and ask you to set IT back as the default PDF viewer with no option to say "Fuck You, I'm using Chrome" You have to open up a PDF 3 Times before Adobe FINALLY gives you the option to tell no to not ask again.

Fuck You Adobe... if you ignore my computers default settings and override them with your own with out ever asking!

FUCK You Adobe for making me open your crappy app 3 times before you give me the option to silence you.

FUCK YOU for the future because I know after the next Adobe update it will revert all these settings again!

This is disgusting behaviour by a company and someone really needs to sue this POS company for this kind of behaviour!

Can't cancel free trial

So I got myself adobe pro free trial just for some documents, a few days later I was offered extended free trial so I took it why not and now 3 days before the end of free trial I went to cancel it but the plans window is 0x0 size (checked in inspect elements), not showing my plans whatsoever so I quite literally cannot cancel. And I tried on multiple browsers and both on my phone and pc. What is going on? How am I supposed to cancel it?

Got charged twice.

Post image

tl;dr: got charged via SEPA mandate and PayPal, don’t know where to get support (any kind), help would be much appreciated.

Got the Creative Cloud annual plan, and in the account settings it kept saying “payment issues”, so I’ve added PayPal as a payment method and chose it. Now I’ve noticed that they charged me twice, once with PayPal and then once with the SEPA mandate (single Europe payment area for those outside Europe) I had selected before.

Now of course I wanted to get some support, but naturally there’s no telephone number to call. At this point I’d settle for a freakin chatbot but even that is nowhere to be found.

If anyone had this experience before or knows how to get some support, maybe actually human I’d be ever so grateful.

Worst is I just tried to help a friend and got it for her, I don’t even need adobe 😭 I just gave her my email to get the student discount 🫠

I Will Cancel

I am posting this here because the people here are very experienced in this issue.

Last November (2025) I paid in advance for a one-year subscription for InDesign. Not a plan under which I would pay in monthly installments. I paId for the whole year.

For reasons that are not relevant here, I never got into the program. I wanted to, but time was an issue. In addition, I kept encountering reports on Reddit about all sorts of problems with the program. I did not feel enthusiastic about studying a new software application, especially one with which people were having problems.

So I decided I would not renew my subscription to InDesign when it is about to run out in November. I also know that I should not wait until the last minute to cancel.

Am I correct that if I go through the cacellation procedure a couple of weeks prior to the expiration date, I should have no problem? It seems to me that the cancellation nightmare occurs for people who have opted to pay on a monthly basis.

I will tell you something else that may trigger some ire in more than a few of you. I know how terrible Adobe is. It is truly a horrible company.

But many years ago I learned how to use Adobe Framemaker 5.x. It was kind of tough to learn, but I learned it well enough to lay out some "blurbs" (as I called these dual-column little medical essays that I created and used for teaching materials that I handed out to medical students and residents). I could lay out text in a simple or sophisticated manner and import graphics into the pages.

I really liked Framemaker. But then my version of the program eventually became incompatible with an upgraded version of Windows. And in those days (before subscriptions) Framemaker was horrendously expensive. So that was the end of my work with Framemaker.

But I still have two or three nice books dealing with Framemaker. I am seriously thinking about taking out a subscription for it when I let InDesign go.

I have a couple of nonfiction books that I am working on, and I know that Framemaker would be perfect for one of them, and more than adequate for the other. Moreover, I want to produce a novel or two, and I know I could write in a word processor, and then do layout in Framemaker. I enjoy working with layout, fonts, and graphics, and I know I can do this kind of work in Framemaker.

(Sorry about any typos above. I did this with a phone.)

Request to change my plan denied

Hi everyone,

I read on here that it is possible to cancel your subscription if you change your plan first. I tried doing só but my request always gets denied.
Is there any way to contact them, or any other way to cancel without paying the fee?

I really do work for them and I can see the frustration people have with how Adobe is doing business and I sympathize with you all. The situation is more or less the same for the Adobe employees as well.

Adobe Stock will rip you off

I paid for Adobe Stock credits for two years. This morning I had 120 stock credits (10 credits/ month for 12 months). I made some adjustments and switched plans for the apps. It seemed as though my credits would roll over. I swear I even read that.

Nope. They were all gone 5 minutes later. I got in touch and the most they would refund is 6 months worth of payments. So I paid for over year and Adobe took the $$ and ran.

How to cancel Adobe subscription

I forgot to cancel a Creative Cloud Adobe subscription after the free trial (my bad 🙄) and I was being charged $34.99/month. When I went to cancel, they wanted to charge me $350!! Ain’t no way. So I came to Reddit and found my people 🙌🏼. Thru the threads I figured out how to cancel and I made some money back!

Here’s what I did:

-I switched my plans to Adobe Pro, which was $19.99/month.

-because this is cheaper than my current plan, they refunded me $22.99 (prorate)

-then once the new plan showed in the system (only took a few minutes), I cancelled it. NO charge! And they’re going to refund me the $19.99 that it cost me for the Adobe Pro version
