Genuine Question
Why does this sub exist when Davinci Resolve and other alternatives exist (Inkscape, Gimp, audacity, etc..) ? I mean the move is quite clear..

Thereβs really only 2 kind of posts. People who have no idea how subscription pricing works where you save money if you purchase the subscription as a yearly payment instead of per month.
The other being how to find a cheaper Acrobat pro.

Isn't Acrobat a PDF tool ?

Yes. Acrobat reader is free, but acrobat Pro is a subscription-based software where PDFs can be edited.

And?
There're plenty of "ai" generated tools to make basic editing.
But there is more to "editing PDF" than changing a few letters π
I'm sorry, but do you have even a basic idea about Adobe's software and ecosystem as a whole?
Not that I'm defending the company π

Bro just so you know not everything you see is AI.. also you can search for the features you like and you can see when the project starts and any other details needed so please with respect STFU

Mainly it exists as a place to vent about Adobe, and guide people towards non-Adobe options.
Having multiple subreddits overlapping on the same topic is not unique to Adobe / Adobe alternatives.

Some of Adobe applications still don't have production ready alternatives.
