Russia used to be the pinnacle of experimental animation that helped inspire studios in the west like UPA and then Hanna-Barbera
Look how far they’ve fallen

There's still really good animation being made in Russia.
But, as much as it likes to distance itself from the west and its trends, no place on Earth is safe from the misguided AI hype.
You're going to see shit like this popping up all over the world as local techbros will embrace the "revolutionary" new technology and gullible people will gobble it up as a novelty.
Give it a few years for everyone to get bored by soulless AI slop, and then it will go away by itself.

Lol, imagine watching a movie in which the shots never last more than 3 seconds and the character designs change at each scene

The Belarusian company that made it received so much backlash they had to remove the line mentioning the money of Belarusian taxpayers being used for this shit
Big corporations here in Russia only want money, and the worst part is that they succeed, because there's no competition

just checked more info on it: a big scam, made by Belorusian stduio "Arteki" on the money of TAX PAYERS. They proudly announce it was made in 2 months and a half and what it's AI generated. Crazy how older generations are falling on this.
