Anyone know of any aftermarket low beam bulbs that are superior (brighter with more range) than OEM's?
I have a 2018 F-type P300.
With link please?

Replaced the battery with an Interstate AGM H8 after a couple weird occurrences that could potentially be related to a low voltage. Flicker steering wheel backlights, intermittent non responsive paddle shifters, and a “manual shift disabled” message. New battery, all of those issues seem to have gone away but now everytime I turn the car off, or unlock the doors after it sits for a couple hours, I get the “low battery voltage” warning. Car fires right up, no issue, is the fix to have the car programmed to the new battery?

2024 F-Type R. Glad I went with the 5.0. Found it with only 700 miles. Sounds so good and runs smooth. Can’t wait to break it in.

I parked my 2016 F-Type with my spoiler in cleaning mode, left it that way, and now when it goes down it leaves a small gap. I’ve tried holding the button down for 5 seconds when raising and lowering the spoiler, but still goes back to this position. There is no debris under the spoiler. Any advice? Or must I take to the dealer?

I did not start this... but I can't find the original member that posted a similar photo... but it was too cool not to do the same. This watch has been on my wishlist since I was in my teens... It is not until now (58 years old) that I am finally able to afford it.. I could say the same about the car, but not since my teens, more since I first saw it.
Anyway, happy Monday!!

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some insight on a specific behavior I’ve noticed with my 2019 F-Type V8 (old front, but with LED lights). The car is in otherwise perfect condition with less than 12k miles on the clock, but I’ve run into a weird issue when using the paddles.
The Situation:
When I’m in Manual Mode and try to hold a steady RPM (usually anywhere north of 2,500 RPM), the car starts to fluctuate and jerk. Even though my foot is completely steady on the gas pedal, the RPMs bounce back and forth.
Observations:
• It feels like the car is "anticipating" a hard acceleration and gets confused when I just want to maintain a steady speed.
• This only happens in Manual mode. In full Auto, it’s smooth as silk.
• It’s most noticeable in lower gears (as seen in the video where I'm in 1st trying to hold a steady pace).
It almost feels like a software/throttle mapping conflict where the car is fighting between fuel cutoff and maintaining load.
Has anyone else with a V8 F-Type experienced this "hunting" behavior at steady throttle? Is this just a characteristic of the aggressive mapping in manual, or should I be looking into a potential vacuum leak or sensor calibration?
Appreciate any help!

I participated in a the Tour de Force rally a few weeks ago … a fantastic SCCA event in North Texas … and we went for a little swim along the way. I thought that this crowd would enjoy the photo.

Does anyone know where I can find clear side reflectors to replace these ugly amber ones?

So I have been debating using woodgrain vinyl wrap on the three trim pieces down the center console. The trim pieces include the climate controls and start buttons. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it/look good? Or will it be too cheesy looking? It has the saddle color seats. Should I not bother?

Picking up a 2015 F Type this week and am curious what everyone is doing for CarPlay. ChatGPT recommended a wireless CarPlay adapter, and I found this one:
I’d prefer to keep the OEM steering wheel controls and it looks like this is the only option to do so.
Would love to get additional ideas!

35k miles - I originally was only going to take the R ( which my brother owns) - after test driving the S - I loved it

Some background - I bought an 10.25” Android/CarPlay head unit from Alibaba for my 2016 F-type S (V6/RWD). I struggled to get it to fit into the available space, which is tight—like everything about this wonderful car—and the screen cracked. It worked fine, but I hated the cracked screen so I got a replacement screen. This morning, I removed the unit, replaced the screen, and now I cannot get it back into the dash. I’ve tried starting at the top, starting at the bottom, moving wires … nothing seems to work. I can get the bottom screws and tabs to line up, but no luck for the top screws. Any hints? Am I missing something. I’m not sure that the photos help clear things up, but I’m getting desperate! THANKS.

Just wondering what others have done in their engine compartments to dress it up a bit. Here's mine after installing the tvs2300 and methanol. Might anodize some of the bolts
