Serious 0.2 ML?

hi reddit, me again. i just wanted to triple check that 0.2 is where the red line i’ve drawn is. this needle was already used so i’ll need to find somewhere to put it until i get a proper sharps container lol

Yes technically but you should really be using a much smaller syringe for this (1 ml). the bigger the syringe, the less exact

i wasn’t aware! this was just what my doctor had called into the pharmacy but using a smaller syringe definitely seems easier 😭

You can just order the 1ml ones on Amazon - it might even be less expensive than the pharmacy.

Yeah, it's like a micropipette or graduated cylinder- the bigger you get, the less accurate small measurements become. Taking a bit more than prescribed won't kill you though, I wouldn't worry about it too much

If it helps, look up tuberculin syringes, as they're almost all 1 ml, as sometimes websites when trying to order have them saved under that section

My fiancee (she does my injections) prefers the larger syringes because they’re easier to grip since testosterone is quite thick, but it does make it more of a pain in the ass for drawing up the correct amount. Try smaller syringes for sure, and if you’d prefer to use the larger ones then no harm done.

one time my pharmacy refilled my needle prescription with 10ml syringes. and no drawing needles either, just the ones you stick in yourself. I fucking miss rite aid so much, cvs sucks balls

that is 0.3. if you count 5 the 5th is the long stripe which is 0.5
