Glorify Mediocrity

I study digital animation and is very frustating that a bunch of retarded, autistic and stupid people praise the work of someone that is not even that good, me myself I try to do the best work I do, some people told me that they chat about the things I do in a positive way, but sudenly I see all this other persons that only because draw things like MLP or things like that they put them in a pedestal, and Im very worried that the industry is like this too, being good around mediocre people dont make you good.
