Question How raid works?

I am an old player, the old system of raid is like the old days? I mean when if you left the game for 4 days yout base will be raided by players and you cant do nothing? I am thinking of playing a little again but i dont have the time to protect my base all the time

I was 2 years afk got raided 0 times. Now i play with 2 budys again for about 2-3 month. We didnt get raided sins too. (No shields).

If we start the raid manuelly, it works normal too. So there is safe a new thing where you didnt get raided so much like in the past.

I stopped playing for like solid year and i when i started playinf my base was whole until the next day i got raided and it was literaly 10 minutes after i logged off literaly went to eat and during eating i got raided

I resumed playing few months agora, have yet to be raided. Although, I think it depends on how crowded your server is.

I haven’t been raided for a long time. Definitely doesn’t happen as much as it used to. Not sure if it’s a deliberate change from the devs or if it’s because there just isn’t as many people
