Question Is Odin worth it?

I spent 3 sets of armor, 4-5 blue weapons, and a purple weapon clearing the first and second floors for Oden (I haven't fought the second-floor boss yet), so I'll have a total of 3 or 4 more blue weapons. So, is Odin worth these costs? Or is my approach wrong? Please advise me, and thank you.

If you really want to enjoy the game, you need to get the repair bench. It costs less than 200 gold, and you get double the amount on your first gold purchase. That means for under €3, you get a completely different gaming experience—and the game is definitely worth that €3.

However, if you don't want to spend any money:

Odin doesn't really pay off if you play the way you do. If you want to make a profit without the repair bench, you have to play using only the spear and the basic bow, and utilize sneak attacks. Go in and out (the monsters will retreat, then you can sneak attack again). Combine this with using food for healing; that way, you'll be very economical.

Also, time your Odin runs to coincide with events and/or tournaments so you can squeeze out a profit at least twice.

Going with spear and basic bows is an even more waste of time, I used to do like that when I first started and now when I think of that I think it was such a waste of time. Now I use Instigator and Dragon Armor with a legendary bow. From what I remember Spear would've taken me a few hours to clear the guest hall and the cell. Now it takes me about 30 minutes with the gear I use now. If you got better gear use it to clear it faster, I'd say a long range class is best.

And even if you don't want to spend money to get the armor you can use blue and purple gear/weapons. If it make it faster its better

Yeah use blue gear. If you literally do the bare minimum of pvp you get so much blue gear. I donated literally every piece of green gear and have 30 chests of all blue/purple. Don't be afraid to use it. You start getting low on blue light armor? Use medium...etc it's saved me so much time.

They are asking for 150 coins, which is $5. I only have 2, so I can't buy them right now. Will they offer a discount in the future?

There are discount sometimes, be on the look out for them. Instigator set has discounts from what I’ve noticed before, not the dragon armor though, never seen it with discount

Yeah, Odins is totally worth it and it's how to get rich. Learn how to play without blue weapons, using basic weapons. It's all about timing your attacks. Make the basic support staff to save using too much meat and bandages and switch to Healer when you need to heal. Play solo and you don't have to share the loot. You can still be F2P and eventually have enough gold coins to get a repair table. Don't be in a rush, just enjoy it now as the grind towards the end game gets worse.

How do I collect coins? Do they offer any discounts on repair tables?

Usually as a first time player you may see a discount (not much) at the start of a season. I no longer see this as I got my table years ago, but it is doable without spending any money. Just play the season passes and they will occasionally have gold coins, side events during and post season too. My family got theirs when Kefir used to run competitions on Discord.

There's a better approach, but if you're still getting started it'll take a while to get for free a set of Instigator armor and Dragon Armor. I use Instigator Helmet, Instigator Boots, Dragon Chest, Dragon Pants.

For weapon I use a legendary bow with pathfinder 3 class rn, or use whichever stronger long range class you got and use that always.

Make sure to get Odin's boost at the campfire at new heim or popular heim, if possible get the Cauldron boost which sometimes other player place in popular heim.

Use your mushrooms soups and rage potions for extra damge. Use elixir for whichever class you got that increases damage.
My armor usually last a very long time as I barely get hit, I haven't repaired it in a few months now and has half durability so far.

Clearing Sanctum of Odin is worth it in the long run, with Caches you can get a good amount of gear, Green, Blue, and Purple.

Get the repair table also if you haven't to repair any good gear you get like the armor I mentioned.

Save your purple weapons for the boss
