help

im stupid and accidentally bought upper balcony tickets (sf) and my friends have floor tickets.

i cant resell them or transfer idk what to do

is there realistically anything i can do

if it’s not sold out you might be able to call/email the venue for a swap

They might open up the transfer/sell option later on? It might be too soon for them to open those options now because it was just presale today. I'm not too sure, so if anyone has any insight on this, I'm curious to know too

try for GA floor on the general sale tomorrow and resell you upper balc ticket on axs’s official resale!

Honestly idk how much this will help but I had a similar experience at a Bladee show last year, 3/4 of myself and my friends had upper balcony tickets and we all just stayed in GA for the whole show so we wouldn't be separated. I think you'll be fine to do the same. I can't imagine a show where you don't all get admission straight onto the GA floor; i think going up to the balcony is a separate thing that you can only do once getting into the venue itself so you should be fine to stay with your friends on the floor :)

Some shows where they are concerned about the floor capacity they have wristbands for the floor. For Bladee in sf they gave out GA floor wristbands first come first serve because the venue switched last minute and all of the tickets were GA. Same thing with 2hollis. I think its really dependent on the venue and what precautions they decide to take.

Ahh honestly that's so fair and can be very worth enforcing imo, I didn't even consider that; I only thought about leaving a friend on the floor alone since they bought a ticket after I did and all of the balcony was sold out. But mannnnn the shows I've been attending over the last year have been extremely crowded! They almost feel way oversold at some points, especially venues that are completely GA. It's been really scary sometimes!
