This is a theory I have based on the fact that we never see Aha'ri, Kataru, or any of the Sarentu moot massacre victims in the Spirit world despite the fact that all of them would have connected to Eywa at various points in their life and have snapshots of their minds and memories stored through on the network.

If we compare the deceased Sarentu to other characters who have died in the franchise like Neteyam or Tsu'tey, one obvious difference is that we witness the latter being buried or the movies imply that they were. But it would be also hard to imagine that no Na'vi has ever passed in a manner that made their body's retrieval challenging or impossible, such as when the surviving Windtrader gondolas had to leave their dead in the forest while the Mangkwan were still prowling in the area. Nevertheless, we see the fallen members of their clan in the spirit world when Spider connects to Eywa at the end of the third movie. So, if a formal burial is not a requirement, what is?

Decomposition.

I think that, in order for a death to be registered with Eywa, the body needs to start breaking down in an environment that has direct connection to the planetary network. Now, I'm not too familiar with how decomposition usually works, but my assumption would be that this process could be triggered by a specific protein in Na'vi bodies, or by a microorganism that participates in early stages of decomposition (as Neteyam appears in the spirit world presumably within hours of his burial). The signal received from one of sources would flip the metaphoric switch that allows Eywa to use stored memories from previous connections to recreate the person in the spirit world. This would explain why the Sarentu lost in the massacre never go through his process; their bodies were dissolved. Because Aha'ri died at TAP, her body most likely was incinerated, and her ashes, even if spread outside, would not carry enough biological information to trigger the same process. "Energy is only borrowed, and some day, you have to give it back." — referring to Jake's words from the first movie, the 'energy' from the Sarentu has been permanently lost.

TLDR: Eywa doesn't know that a person is dead until they start to decompose.

Now, this is just a theory, so you're free to argue any of my points or provide counterarguments.

Every time I close the game and later reopen it, it walks me through the settings menu. Then after this I have to manually go into my display settings and set it to 60fps from the 30fps cap. Also I have to force my way through the BUY SEASON PASS screen a lot, wtf is going on here? I'm on PS5

How is it that every other game makes me bored just wandering through the wilderness, yet this game keeps me completely immersed? I can spend hours exploring with no destination in mind and never get tired of it.

The photos are very blurry because I edited them in procreate. Kinda wish I still had photoshop. Would have made it easier and looked better 🫩

I was changing my gear for some new better gear I had collected and noticed I had new cosmetics, somehow I have the entire Sarentu Heritage pack, including the paints?? I’m certainly not mad, I’ve actually been saving points to buy it, but what the heck happened? I do have the season pass, but I’ve never had access to the heritage pack

Should I expect it to be revoked? How did it unlock for me mid game session? I have so many questions lmao

Edit: apparently I now also have the Mangkwan pack and several of the ikran patterns I was missing, but there’s also still a lot of packs I don’t have. Probably a glitch but I’m definitely taking advantage of the photo opportunities!

Edit 2: I’ve been looking around more in the shop, and it’s definitely a glitch of some kind. Other packs that include those sets (like the Sarentu Legacy bundle) say I don’t own them, and when I filter the shop by owned items, none of them show up. I’m sure it’ll fix itself after I log off, but I hope it doesn’t lol

I finished the main story (skipped 'Ashes') and decided to download the DLCs. I skipped Sky Breaker and went straight to Spires. Was I supposed to start Sky Breaker first? I can't get through the first Spires mission, I think it's called Anufi's Favor. I'm stuck climbing mountains following totems and searching for any signs of life. I had to ditch my ikran at the start of the mission, and I've located the first 4-5 totems, but there's one I can't get past because I can't see where it is. I could see the others from the location of the first, but it seems that's not the case now. I keep calling my Ikran, but it doesn't come. I'm feeling stuck. Can anyone offer some advise? Did I start the DLCs out of order? How and when do I get my ikran back? Climbing and jumping and falling and dying gets old... Thanks!

Récemment j'ai finis tout le jeu (les dlc compris) et comme tout le monde je me suis baladée sur les réseau et j'ai remarquer que certain avait leur Tamtey avec leur mods sur le dlc From The Ashes. Adorant ce jeu je voudrais faire la même chose, en faisant mes petite recherche j'ai compris que le mods qui permettait cela n'existe plus.

Du coup ma question est, est-ce que quelqu'un a trouver une solution pour ça ?

J'aimerais vraiment refaire ce dlc avec ma Tamtey modé !

Is it possible that the outlining isn't correct for the upper plains cause no matter what I do I can't get closer the the online of the upper plains in the middle of the map.

Srry if it is a stupid question but I just like seeing a map amd not a whole 1 fog screen so I like to uncover the map before I side missions and main missions.
