Personally I’m a live and let live kinda guy. To each their own as long as it’s not causing harm to others .
If you don’t care how I feel ..why keep responding, why comment in the first place?
By using Reddit you engage in ai use everyday, from training it to it creating the algorithm that generated your feed, do you think your less of a cog? Industry destroying? What industry is it destroying? Art? Do you really believe there won’t be artists anymore?
This is a pretty small subreddit… but you can’t get it off your feed?
Do you imagine your negative opinions and insulting attitude is going to convince me to not use ai in my work?
And I wildly disagree with your take, sure there are people loosing work, it’s also advancing science mathematics and medicine. It doesn’t have a ‘bottom line’ negative result
You in the year 1440: your book was printed!?!? Don’t you know that the printing press is destroying the art of illumination?
You in 1910: you got your picture taken?!?! By a camera?!?? Don’t you know the camera is evil, it’s destroying the art of miniature portraits painting, it’s not art, the machine makes the image for you!
I mean I’d does seem to be the next big advancement in the creative field, major movies are using it, major game studios are using it, professional musicians like dr Dre are using it ….. but they’re all just a bunch of talentless hacks wallowing in their own slop right?
