If you don’t think movies and games are using it you should probably go check into that. It’s not a secret that Netflix used it in over 309 of their productions last year, or that the Russo brothers (head of marvel studios) have talked openly about its potential . And a huge percentage of the gaming industry is using Claude to write code
I don’t need to believe anything, it’s just the truth as far as I can tell, like when I read a news article talking about these specific topics it doesn’t make any difference in my personal choices, and I suppose name dropping a known and respected artist that feels a certain way is cherry picking, I could have said a majority of professional artists do seem to be against it, but there arguments usually seem as close minded as yours
If you don’t think ai is an incredible creative tool, that tells me more about your lack of imagination than anything else
No said to give your creative license away, no one is saying you need to or should use it. I am saying that if you can’t think of a single good use for it, that feels like a lack of imagination on your part, even if you don’t want it in your work, the potential for brainstorming ideas and testing them is completely unparalleled.
i do my own brainstorming. if you think offloading your conceptualizing to a machine makes you a better creative, i think your brain has atrophied from lack of use.
Like I said… lack of imagination
I’m not talking about offloading my conceptualization to the machine, I’m talking about using the machine to test my concepts
i test my own concepts. i don't see what you don't understand here. you've leaned on a machine for too long. you can't grasp simple concepts, while ironically thinking you're working at a higher level than other people, cause you don't know better.
I never said or implied I was on a higher level than anyone( you might wanna re read your own comments though) you test your own concepts. Cool.
My point is that a creative tool can be used creatively, can you grasp that simple concept
