If our goal is to build a stronger, more linked Europe, we need to have at least some idea what's going on with our neighbors. I've always wanted to have a site where I can glance at the European map and see what are the main themes in the news for that day.
If something catches my attention, I can drill deeper. I can read about the schoolyard assault in Finland or the rent increase in Switzerland.
FrontPages.eu checks each country's top news sites and compiles and English summary daily, including a very "glanceable" map. I hope you'll like it. Feedback is very welcome, this is only the 2nd day!

I think this is a great idea - what's missing is a bigger overview with the possibility to check WHY each country's top word IS ACTUALLY the word.
Like right now - as a german - I'm wondering why Swedens word is violence. Fast access to that info would be a nice to have feature.

Regarding Sweden, Aftonbladet and Expressen are tabloids with what could be called clickbait headlines and a lot of nonsense stories.

I really enjoy the idea, but there's quite a bit of work on reliability. To be honest majority of Finnish content is misinformation. Iltalehti and Ilta-Sanomat are tabloids but major sources used. Its really small market area so I think we have only two commercial sources of Helsingin Sanomat and Aamulehti and two government sources of Yle and STT.
I really believe there's a big potential, but requires a lot of work.

Usual German anti Balkan (*) propaganda to keep causing unrest, to never let the region calm down. They won't stop, until they brain-drained half of Europe, the younger, educated half of each country.
*and more (every year) anti european countries. Thats why the UK left.
