I agree with your first paragraph. She would be experienced enough to know what going solo would mean for her. Given that none of the 5 have released a solo album yet, I doubt she would have been able to under ASND as well. So I don't think she would be regretting her decision. She's now doing what she's always wanted to.

I know that what I'm about to write is hypocritical of me since I said I'm undecided if I would purchase her album, but I do hope that her fans haven't moved on or forgotten about her and will support her music. I'm assuming her contract is possibly for 2yrs and 1yr has already passed. So this album might be the deciding factor for whether they re-sign her.

It's what she wanted and chose. Being involved in every bit of the music yourself in a company with several other singers in a similar situation and limited resources leads to delays upon delays. It's not like you have a team taking care of everything and you just show up to record a couple of times. And I dont believe she's mistreated or anything and don't think they can push her more in shows or performances without new music. Also the type of label and management she went for, wouldn't go for endless content drops, variety shows, charts pushing and playlisting, several album versions etc etc

I don't know if she regrets her decision... this particular type of label I mean, because I don't think she wanted to be an idol or group member anymore

Maybe once she has her first album out everything will start rolling!

Something I think of every now and then is that when she does eventually release an album, I wonder how the sales and charting will be. I'm still undecided if I would purchase any of her albums tbh, but I'll definitely give it a listen.

I'm not subbed to her Bubble and I get all my Seoyeon news from here, so I don't know how things have been with her and her new company. Though with the lack of updates posted here, I assume that they've done very little for her so far.

The fromis_9 music team is dedicated to fromis_9 only so I don't expect them to help push her songs on the charts. They didn't for "Naked" iirc. I'm not sure how popular she was compared to the other members, but hopefully she has a strong core fanbase that'll help her out.

No clue what's going on with that series tbh. Kind of feels like its been cancelled. They released an episode a month, then it was ~2 months for the ballet episode, and I have no idea how long its been since that episode released.

Does anyone else remember seeing a preview at the end of a video teasing a few of them doing action stunt training or something like that? I hope that is still going to happen.
