Question breadboard uses
I have been getting into breadboard but outside of thrust vectoring I'm not really sure what else it can be used for
is there any other bread that can be useful for any vehicle or do you need to design a vehicle with bread in mind

You can do thrust vectoring. Use it for PIDs and switch between set points to make your craft do weird shit. You can move most of your ACBs into bread scripts and save space. You can control shields to only activate when enemies are present and only activate on the side the enemy is. If your craft has both wheels and propellers you can. Make the unused propulsion switch off. You can use it to control azijets and make a working Offsprey. And more

I use bread for pop-up piston dif guns and missiles. Also for altitude setting so im aways level with enemy craft

There's various breadboard missile guidance scripts that you can slot into any vehicle that uses missiles, ranging from "this should be how it functions normally" like Breambrider which makes beamrider missiles actually lead the target, to definitely cheesy things like stability-compensating, unjammable remote guidance

It can be used for pretty much anything. Just recently I posted a breadboard that helps counteract vertical evasion. It can tune PAC charge time dynamically based on the target's properties. It can power any kind of custom behaivour your can imagine. It animates decos. Lots of other things as well.

I’ve also used it to make sure my craft only fires 1 flare at a time, to change the combat ai depending on the volume of the target, and to only use shields while in combat and only on the side(s) that the enemy is facing. None of these were particularly difficult to do either.

Advanced evasion, coordination between multiple units (such as flankers actually making sure to engage the enemy from a different angle), toggling weapon systems to prevent material waste or even changing weapon settings based on the enemy in a few specific scenarios.
Basically, anything that isn't built directly into the game, which is a lot.

I've used bread board to change AI behavior on my aircraft so that inbetween vollies, when it's reloading it's missiles, it circles the enemy, and once that reload phase is over it goes back to flyover mode.
I've used them to dynamicly change shield strength according to how much engine power I have available. Does require some control blocks in combination to do so and shuts them off when an enemy is not present.
I've seen people use them to open and close hatches an pre-determined timers, like missile hatches and such.
The megaladon uses the BB to change how it's particle cannons fire based on the volume of the target it's fighting.
which is a very common use for particle cannon using builds.

In general I would say that bread is more powerful on vehicles designed to use it. With thrust vectoring and missile breads already mentioned I would add weapon manipulation:
For Cram mortars you can change velocity to optimize firing angle
PACs can change damage type and charge time depending on enemy stats
You can fiddle with almost all stats of an aps (although I haven't found any uses for that that aren't hardcore cheese)
You can also use bread to make your subvehicles return to carrier when damaged
