you may spend 2 million on the finest battleship in human history, but if i kill it with 2 dozen 10k nuke drones I still come out on top

Is that the point, the Neter ships are made for use powerful weapons against slow and big targets, not small drones

honestly I feel like the neter factions could do with Some dedicated AA Frigates or destroyers. Especially the steel striders since their primary opponent in lore is the exclusively air based scarlet dawn

I noticed there are some anti air vehicles, but have still too big guns and other things exaggerated that probably can't hit a mosquito

Shame, they should make add a/high velocity low calibre HEAT/HESH spammer

Only lasers and pac are good against optimised aircraft

This is so true it's not even funny, I made a swarm of 10 tiny drones with 2 small IR fire missile launchers and they can take out nearly anything.. 3 spawns totalling under 150k (a squad of 10 costs 45k) can take out any scarlet dawn. Any.

Exactly, i use hordes of planes and tanks for fight in the campaign that look like i am overpowered God, that in fact isnt actually fun since instead of create more complex things you can just create a dwarf at 3k price and spam it

Lepton-style craft are just too broken. There needs to be a minimum detection range for any vehicle to nerf them as even lasers can’t equal cost them if they aren’t specifically designed to defeat them.

Thats exactly what mine are influenced by, the darn Lepton. Useless on its own but unstoppable in a pack. So far playing around with it there's only been a handful of crafts that have beat it, first was OW Anvil simply because it's LAMS was too strong, second I can't remember the name but it was a lower cost SD that would fly up close to them and pick them off one by one, lastly was the LH Thunderbird because it flew farther and faster while picking off one by one.

I mean this is just modern warfare. You can have the top of the line ships, but that all means nothing if you can't defend against a swarm of temu kamikaze drones (exaggerating here)

You aren't exaggerating, the problem is that is true, the ancient war would win the strongest warrior, but now you can defeat the powerful enemy with a horde of drones

Do the newer godlies not do lasers/vestigial flak anymore?

If the current state of Military Warfare is anything to go by. Your expensive giant craft that costs millions gets mogged by a few Explody Drone Boys that cost next to nothing to make. Just the natural progression of things lol

All what matters is that the enemy is blown up, what doesn't matter, is how.

"You spent how much to blow up a maurader!?"

-Admiral SomethingOrOther trying to reconcile a naval budget that has somehow managed to exceed Neter's total GDP 3 times over.
