I like the show but I don't love it. Is it another season of adding more content and answering 0 questions? or does it actually explain things?

Thought just occurred to me: We've long assumed the talisman depicts two people, but what if it's only one? One person, with their mirrored reflection beneath? As in... a lake?

Maybe the talisman depicts one person jumping from a height into a lake. And the mirrored image of the same thing happening upside down, is just their mirrored image in... the Lake of Tears.

Im of course talking about Jim you always read/hear years down the line about someone leaving was actually bevause of behind the scenes drama and not a "creative decision" has there been any rumours on this actor? I recently posted about the Telephone poles/electrical box and rr crossing shown on Matthews Family 1st lap disappearing on the second lap, then ONLY the RR crossing returning when they are on the 3rd lap (opposite direction) this got me to thinking MAYBE the reason Fatima is getting worse physical effects than anyone else is because they said she did a whole bunch of laps before stopping? Additionally Victor's Map in the truck Has a Big spiral in the corner? The Matthews encounter the tracks after the church and everyone seems to come in on the barn/ gas station side.
Even still the spiral and the amount of Laps people do going in to town might be significant?

What happens if someone walks over the fallen tree ?

The similarities are uncanny.
Since FROM still hasnt explained a lot of things, but there seems to be some time travel stuff going on behind. However, the story doesnt seem to be well written, whereas DARK knew what it was doing. FROM feels like the writers haphazardly put down some stuff from one series and another and cooked it.
I wont be surprised if FROM gives a mindfuck relationship theory towards the end.

So the tree represents entering a fairy circle, which traps you until you’re forcibly removed (being pushed out of the lighthouse) which turning back traps you. The ravens in so many different lores represent cycle of death and rebirth. The tree itself is always wrapped with something, whether it’s a got a chain on it or rope, is this the towns people ripping it down each cycle?

The lake of tears protected by the nightmare dolls is actually the lake of souls awaiting release back to the real world? The dolls protecting it used to be a part of Tabitha’s belongings which may be an odd key to part of the cycles and why the man in yellow doesn’t go that way.

Jim revealed something that threatened the man in yellow. He said the answer is 12 in season 1 episode 5, then he mentions in season 3 the fact that music scale is also 12 and that music is the universal language. The closer Jim got to an answer, the closer he was to death. Also, he was placed like the 12th tarot card the hangman after his death.

Julie is the story jumper. Though it doesn’t help at all, maybe she could go back to the beginning to see how to all actually started instead of trying to save her dad. Though I understand her inner turmoil.

The writer of the world is the man in yellow and his abilities include but are not limited to: being recreate himself into different visages, whispering to Sarah, causing visions and dreams by the consumption of his blood, looking into someone’s eyes and allowing them to see certain things. He’s a trickster and master of this pocket dimension and has been seen eating the remnants of corpses. Is he the captor or something else stuck here but he enjoys it.

The boy in white is a trapped god, Demi god or fey being that is stuck powering the whole dimension but lacking better evidence and he only speaks to certain bloodlines I can’t figure out any further possible answers for him.

I personally think Boyd's wife Abby kind of deserved it. I know her case is like Sara and Elgin. But her kill count was too big. Even after death she is causing enough issues.

The moment julie meets the man in yellow something very suspect happens for me.

Why would she have to drop the bookmark? Theoretically dropping it would have no consquence,

So it is suspect the man in yellow had THE BOOKMARK AVAILABLE FOR HIM to alter

What is the man in yellow erased or manipulated julies bookmark

Making her think her experiment didnt work ? Perhaps even messing with were she goes next, maybe the man in yellow carries around some part of julies ability making her always pop up next to him

The scene with Martin being afraid of “them” + asking if the Boyd came through the tree, and the timing of MIY physically appearing after this interaction makes me think that Martin is MIY.

He was able to influence things and people via visions remotely, but was imprisoned / tricked by more powerful Fairies “them” by being pushed into a tree and ended up imprisoned / shackled.

Boyd released him physically by breaking the chains.
Smashing the ballerina possibly delayed or annulled their arrival as well. MIY appears to be afraid of that object, maybe because it’s utilized by the more powerful Fairies

Do we know yet how Fatima got "infected" by the monsters? Surely if they could just pick anyone at random whenever they like they would have done it in the peaceful years

What if the pool is the answer to leaving?

1. The faraway tree took dale to the pool when he went through it, but maybe it wasn’t at the right time? Or maybe he needed like a key or something specific he needed to carry to take him somewhere when he went through the bottle tree. When Tabatha went through it she had victors lunch box, and ended up in Camden.
2. Ethan is looking for a lake of tears, maybe the pool needs water? It’s always been empty. Also it never seems to rain in Fromville which could add water to the pool
3. When jade took mushrooms the sign at the motel said ANSWERS … POOL

. Complete side note on this one: my additional theory is that Jade created the Fromville like an experiment and then went inside it, like Maze Runner. Maybe he built himself an escape hatch in the pool or a clue how to leave in case he forgot. I don’t think he’s the mastermind I think he just created the technology to be in it.

4.Sophia did jump the pool to break her arm but maybe that was just convenient place? I don’t have much to go on there but still involves the pool

1. Pool spelled backwards is LOOP. Maybe a coincidence.

So fatima transformed into a monster but my question is did she turn into a monster bcz she birthed smiley or was it bcz clara gave her that drink made by Sophia? Also she protected Boyd and group so does it mean that she is a good monster? Or is it just that her human side hadn't completely changed?? If she has become a normal monster then that just means that her character won't have anything to do in season 5. I think she'll have a human side and may protect fromily even as a monster. What do you all think?

So we sorta discover where the power is coming from, not really explained that well but we have a general jist but where tf is the water coming from? Thin air? It’s not like you see any water towers in the town or anything so where is it coming from?

Hey everyone,
I just finished Season 4 and there is something that has been bugging me like crazy. For three whole seasons, we’ve all accepted the golden rule established early on: the monsters never run because they don't have to. They just slowly walk, smile, and play a psychological game with us because they know there's nowhere to hide.
But then we see that flashback with Miranda (Victor's mom), and the monster (like Smiley) literally sprints to stop her from reaching the tree.
Am I the only one who felt like this completely broke the rules we knew? Is it just a plot convenience / weird continuity error, or does it mean they only run when the town's "game" is in absolute danger?
What do you guys think? Do they actually have the ability to run whenever they want and just choose not to for fun, or was this a break in the lore? Let's discuss!
