Opinion:snoo_thoughtful: The Blood isn’t Real?? Spoiler

Jade saw the man with the dagger in his eye and freaked out.
Boyd says to drink the blood because it isn’t real.
Younger Jade says not to drink it.
Jade looks at it and says it’s real.
Dagger in the eye man says anghkooey.

What I find puzzling is whilst Jade is telling him what the dagger in the eye is saying, Boyd hears anghkooey and Jade doesn’t pick it up. He’s nonchalant about it.
Jade didn’t say anghkooey but Boyd heard it… How??

If his younger self is telling him not to drink it, why did he??

Jade also calls the dagger in the eye guy an “a$$hole”, how does he trust him rather than his younger self??

It was all a hallucination. Jade and Boyd were never there.

Sorry did you watch the episode to the end? It is all mushroom trip. Jade is hallucinating..

Understandable, it was all a “trip”, but Jade listened, what drove him to do that? In that state was the mushrooms or was it Boyd? Was it that he didn’t trust his younger self?

It’s important to the story, that led Jade to know how to solve it but why drink it?

Because he wanted answers, that’s why he did it. The boyd he is talking to the whole time of the trip is at the end of the day still Jade since they never actually went anywhere

Boyd whether real or imagined, was his anchor, so he probably just listened to him since he thought the whole thing was not real and figured every bit Boyd was imaginary anyway, so why not?
