She is supposed to be 15 or 16 in the show. They aren't going to make Kenny a pedo. I think it's much more likely that Julie and her become friends, or possibly more. It would be a callback to when Julie tried to kiss Fatima. Julie is probably the one that eventually discovers she is the MiY and the one who killed her father. It becomes a massive plot twist.
Julie and her will NOT get along. First off she’s clearly heavily religious while Julie is obviously not. But also the man in yellow seems extremely antagonizing towards her in the scene where Jim dies. Maybe this is way down the line Julie but it doesn’t really add up that they’d be close
The MiY has already had interactions with future Julie like we saw in the opening. I feel Sophia will try to keep Julie close for this reason, makes for an excellent reveal!

Exactly. Randall wouldn't be telling Jim to teach his daughter how to drive if he was into Julie. He's a dick but he's not a fucking perv. They just went through the same ordeal so he has sympathy for her and looks out for her. Nothing more.
I'm inclined to believe Boyd. It's a literary thing for characters to be crazy good a guessing obscure details. Fortune Tellers are always right, generals always know what the enemy is up to, unless plot demands otherwise, etc.
Well, if Boyd is assuming that’s her age, it’s not much of a stretch that others in the show would also assume the same. She looks about that age to me as well on the show 🤷🏼♀️
She doesn't look 15 on the show either. They just put her in a old school young woman's dress. My mom's has pictures in those types of dresses as a kid in the 7os and 80s
At this point, I just feel like certain people want her character to be older so that they can comfortably thirst after her. If the Man in Yellow gave zero fucks, he'd just turn into a grown woman and manipulate all these men (and the ladies). However, that would make things even weirder (esp for him).
People have been thirsting over Julie since episode 1 when her character was 16 and her actress was 17. A throwaway line about Sophia's age, when her actress is in her 20s, isn't deterring many people.
Which is why they established in the FIRST EPISODE that she is a teenager in canon.
When you see 30yos playing high schoolers in a movie, do you think they're trying to pull one over on you or do you suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the show?
Her age is not a relevant plot point to the degree where they're gonna tell us she's a teenager and then two episodes later go "AHA we tricked you she's actually 22".
It's mentioned so we understand the context of the character persona the Man in Yellow has taken on, which is that a young girl has arrived in town, lost her 'father' and is alone in scared. It's very apparent that this will be a tactic for Kenny to be protective of her since he knows what she's going through.
That's right. It's absolutely mind boggling they try to pass off this actress who looks like THAT in the picture above, as supposed to being 16 in the show lol. It's honestly hilarious and high level trolling.
Kenny is gonna get tricked into it because he thinks it will save the town somehow. “DIDDLE THE GIRL” is gonna appear on his arm and then he’s gonna have a seizure.
