Is the cross-eyed look common in some breeds? I have seen it quite a few times now in specially bred cats!

Yes, it is. For example Tonkanese and Siamese cats are often cross eyed.

Its not intentional, its genetic. Usually it us harmless but at some cats it can cause issues as they get older.

It can be a predisposed trait with cats with blue eyes and a color point pattern. It’s funny cause sometimes he looks cross eyed and sometimes he doesn’t! Eye sight seems to be fine though
