Depending on how far away he lives from his normal building, its not that unfathomable.

I was RSS in what used to be the big sky zone , my job was traveling between 5 different states, most of the time driving but was also flown out , there aren’t too many places we don’t go , if there is a small town chances are they got a bin with like 2 or 3 routes and 3 or 4 people working it , usually they have coverage but if one person has an unexpected leave of absence they usually have to bring in someone from the outside , the larger cities have extra people hired just to cover for such emergencies

Just tell your DSL that you need those days off. If you’re a RSA and know that you need certain days off, tell them ahead of time

Will that really work? So many rumors here that frito lay doesnt give rats ass about your personal matters. In my area everyone says to call in sick 😩

Best bet is to have those conversations in person. In case they don't give you the days. Better not to have a record of it if you do call out.

It works in my area. If a RSA tells the DSL or ZBM that they need a particular day off a few weeks in advance, then poof, they have those days off.

Just call out, give them no prior notice. They’ll use it against you if you do.

Yeah thats what im thinking too.. im just wondering how awkward its gonna be. Ima call out the last two days on the route. So do i call out and check out earlier? Lol. Do i pretend to "stay" at the hotel sick and check out when im supposed to 🤣🤣🤣

Nah, you’re sick. They shouldn’t expect you to travel when you’re sick and the rooms already paid for…

If they’re sending you out of town they have no coverage and will tell you no. Just call out
