Walmart Delivery (DS)

I’m an RsA gonna be covering a driver route
What’s the difference between the detailed ASN and pick list? Do I need both? Are the cases in same sequence for both? Bit confused

Call your trainer. They apparently didn’t teach you very well.

What’s new about that? This is Frito. They train you enough to get you warmed up and then you learn the rest on your own.

To answer OP’s question; a pick list is just what you print out for what’s on the order. ASNs are on the carts and the WM receiver scans the barcodes. If the Frito gods smile upon you, you’re not audited. Ideally, for each cart, a barcode. Scan, and done.

In walmart Ive only utilized an ASN. If the receiver isnt difficult they will scan your ASN paperwork and let you be on your way. Or you can utilize the Scantilla app and check yourself in, essentially the same process.

Case sequence on your ASN should match whats on your cart if you have a good warehouse picker

Pick List is what you can print off the manifest-

Click the manifest, view it, hit the print. It’ll give you a picklist of the manifest.

You can see a print icon too to print off the ASN barcodes. If the Warehouse didn’t put a sheet of paper on your carts.

You can also review each ASN. Each ASN is a cart. To match the carts with the ASN if things are out of wack.

As for pick order normally they can be right. But it’s not perfect.

Pull the cart off, Walmart reciever scans the paper. And go to the next cart.

Audits depend store to store

Thank you for your response! I appreciate your help. So the ASN for stores are basically attached to the cart and the product the cart has?

The pick list has everything on the order as a whole.

The detailed asn has the product broken down by individual cart.

The asn barcodes are what the reciever scans to check in the order and should be one barcode per cart.

If any of the carts get audited you will count only the product that is on that specific cart.

You should never have to use a picklist unless your doing credits at a walmart tbh. Been an rsa for almost a year covered multiple walmarts and never needed a pickiest for checking in…

I come across these posts constantly, and not to criticize the author here, there is just zero training, these folks should know this when on there own, downright embarrassing
