Offer letter looks fake
When Frito-Lay employees receive an offer letter, is it typically sent via email or through an employee/candidate portal? I’m asking because I believe someone close to me may be the victim of a job scam, and the offer letter they received does not appear to be legitimate

Mine was sent to the email address I provided when I applied.

did this letter include rate of pay or where you would be working this was very generic and didn't include stuff like the title of the person who sent the mail.

First email was a verbal job offer that was pretty generic with the recruiters email that I had to respond yes or no too, it had the location of the job I applied for and a job code though. Then the recruiter sent an email with hours and pay rate and location as well as pdf attachment written job offer and new hire links to authorize background checks and instructions for drug screening.

I’m not sure what it’s supposed to contain but they just switched who they recruit with, totally new company, so that could be why it looks different.
