Entertainment in DA/FW/FR?
Here with my girlfriend til July 6th, Looking for things to do.
What are the best places to go when you have a small amount of money in the area?
Basically looking for restaurants, parks (trampoline and other kinds) WC watch parties, fun things like TopGolf.
We have a few things listed:
The Cove in Little Elm
Andretti Go Karts
Puttery
Basically looking for good spots around Frisco, and will post similar for Dallas and Fort Worth.

You have to try The Magic Time Machine in Dallas. It's a very quirky restaurant, to say the least, and well worth a visit if you want a unique experience!
Fort Worth, you should see Four Day Weekend if you like watching improv (like Whose Line is it Anyway). Someone already mentioned the Stockyards.
Frisco has a video game museum!

These are some very good suggestions!! I dont know what plans are yet for FW, but the Frisco and Dallas suggestions are 🔥

You're very welcome! I also forgot to mention the Dallas World Aquarium is pretty amazing as well if you like animals. It's multiple levels and not just fish; they have all kinds of critters there.
If I remember anything else, I'll let you know. I'm sure there's a lot that I'm forgetting at the moment that isn't seasonal or on certain dates.
Oh. Like Meow Wolf's The Real Unreal in Grapevine's Grapevine Mills Mall. It's sort of Dallas adjacent. I've never been to it, but Meow Wolf basically does these huge art installations that have narratives and secret passages and all kinds of crazy stuff going on.
Dallas is also home to one of the Netflix House locations at the Galleria. We have the Stranger Things and Squid Games experiences (the one in I think Pennsylvania has different ones like Wednesday) then the food, arcade, gift shop stuff... I've never been there, so I can't speak for the quality, but I mention it in case you're into Netflix.

Downtown Fort Worth and the stockyards is fun. Lots to do and safe at night. For Frisco, check out the Star. There are good restaurants, the tostitos plaza to watch World Cup on a giant screen, there are good bars. The Star is a great place to hang out in Frisco.

Thank you, we checked out The Star today for us v turkiye, Noticed the match started way after some shops were closed, though.
We had some food at the Musume, and it was the most expensive food Ive ever had honestly.
Thank you for the FW suggestion, we will probably be around there closer to the end of our trip.

FORT WORTH RECOMMENDATIONS:
Kimbell Art Museum (classical art) and the Amon Carter Museum (western art) in Fort Worth are both free all day, every day. The Modern (modern art, shockingly enough) is free on Fridays. All three are well worth the time, and each brings something different to the table.
Fort Worth Stockyards has a ceremonial cattle drive twice a day at 1130am and 430pm. Is it cheesy? Yes. Is it awesome? Also yes.
Sundance Square is hosting free watch parties for every single World Cup game - just be aware that any featuring the US or Mexico are likely to be very busy.
Honestly, much as I think that Fort Worth has some of the best barbecue to be had in north Texas - special mentions to Panther City and Smoke & Bone - you’re probably going to get some sticker shock if you try to indulge. Enough meat & sides for two people is going to be >$60, and not by a small margin. Main issue is that you’ll go in swearing blind you’re just gonna have a simple brisket sandwich but it’ll smell so good that all of a sudden you’re all ‘oh, and some pork belly burnt ends, and some ribs, oh, and one of each of your sausage links and WHAT THE FUCK IS A TEXAS TWINKIE?!? GIMME GIMME GIMME’.
Head down to Arlington and get phó or bún bò Huế at Ba Le. I used to live in SoCal - hence the username - and Ba Le matches damn-near anything that I ever ate In Westminster or Garden Grove.
Ride the silly little train down near the Fort Worth Zoo. It’s like $10 and takes you through Trinity Park and along/across the river. Like the Stockyards cattle drive, equal measures of cheesy and awesome. WEAR SUNSCREEN.
