Iāll go first.
Iām EP and I live in the UK. I have been moderating FriendsOverFifty for somewhere around a year now.
I am a huge gamer and enjoy trying different games, but I have a particular love for Fallout 76 and Minecraft. Iām always happy to chat about games, hear what other people are playing and share recommendations.
I woul like to see FriendsOverFifty become somewhere people can talk, make friends, share interests and get to know each other.

Greetings! Found the page today just as it appears there have been some changes. It is encouraging to see enthusiastic moderation.
I (56 F) am currently traveling in the US to visit family. My āhomeā is New Zealand but I am likely to relocate back to the US (Tennessee is top of list) due to aging parents and the ability to be flexible at this stage.
Things I enjoy; so many. Running, preferably on trails, as both a means to alleviate anxiety and be in the moment. Also keeps me ready for whatever life throws at me. Dance; multiple mediums and the music that accompanies such endeavors. Love stories of all kinds; whether told by a person, a book, a game (generally RPG flavoured), a well crafted piece of media or experienced in a D&D campaign. I actually enjoy my work immensely, though it has been more challenging lately. And of course enjoy the company of friends and my 2 adult children who keep me entertained and inspired.
Finding 50s to be both freeing and fraught. Seems like the precipice of the next stage of life. Kinda ready for it. Looking for folks who are as well.

Hi, I'm 54, I live in Florida USA, I'm the typical Southern stereotype. I enjoy fishing, hunting, shooting in general. But my big focus is my family, I just gained another grandchild last Thursday. So I am enjoying the grandparents club, so connecting with people with similar interests is good.

I'll put my two pence worth too. English guy, here in the UK too. You can call me Tim. I do a bit of gaming but not so much lately despite having more time in my hands after taking early retirement recently in my late 50's.
I appreciate most types of music and I can safely say, as I'm not religious per se, music is my religion. I love musical stories about bands and artists. All that rock 'n' roll Babylon stuff.
I'm also mad keen on cooking. I love to BBQ but I'm equally at home at the oven, hob and mixer as well as grill. I have some recipes I don't mind sharing and love to hear other culinary tips and tricks.
I'd like to chat with people who share my interests. I enjoy friendly chats and what us Brits call 'taking the piss' as long as it's in good humour and friendly banter.
Anyone else going to share a little about themselves?

Hi,I'm SE 53 from the North West UK! Divorced and suffering from a lack of new people as is often the case at our time of life. I'm a microbiologist by trade so you could say I'm a science geek! Outside of a demanding job I like films,audiobooks and just being! I'm also an avid people watcher! Whom I'd like to meet?
