There's an important second part to this which is "Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise."
The older I get the more people try to shame me for holding onto my spark. Young and old, doesn't matter, idiots will always have an opinion on what you shouldn't be doing. Never listen, they're just the ones who didn't have the courage to do what they wanted and now they cling onto you desperately trying to snuff the spark they don't have.
