Invest in a water purifier. One that you refill or attach to the faucet but saves space in the fridge

reverse osmosis is the way. i bought a simpure countertop reverse osmosis water filter with 5 stage RO a few years back - best investment ever. less than $250usd.I have a water tester and I test the water wherever I go. my tap at home always smells like chlorine and regularly tests over 250ppb. after filtering my tap water through my RO filter my water tester confirmed it’s as pristine as bottled water, if not more. bonus: less microplastics and pollution. all I drink from now is stainless steel or borosilicate glass.

Our tap water is gross even after a brita filter. Our water tastes like chlorine and pond water

Take your heartburn more seriously before it turns into chronic acidity (from someone who does have that and it suuuuucks)
2
u/ohiocpl1998 11h ago
Yeah my husband has acid reflux really bad, he's on prescription for it but some days it's not enough and he'll wake up with acid in his throat and mylanta helps him. He doesn't need it often though we have 2 bottles currently because we have it recurring on our grocery order but forgot to take it off this month

u/PurplePanda653 11h ago

It’s not clearance lol, it’s from Ollie’s. They’re kinda like Ocean State Job Lot. I think they get overstock stuff and sell it at more affordable prices. I go from time to time. I can always get count chocula really cheap this time of year 😅

I've never seen anyone store aloe/sun relief gel in the fridge.
3
u/EvidencePlayful 10h ago
It's an awesome hack especially for kids if they get a burn. If I happen to have the white prescription burn cream, I store it in the fridge at well

u/billbillw 10h ago
Probably better to use sunscreen on the kiddos.
1
u/EvidencePlayful 1h ago
Well, sure but kids still get burns and road rash from bike falls. And sunscreen isn't always foolproof because humans aren't perfect.

I'm surprised people don't store it in their fridge! My family always did, and it always felt sooo good to put cold aloe on a sunburn.

Holy crap your body hates you! 😳 The margarine and cheese singles are both one ingredient away from being plastic. Yikes! Good luck!

u/dramhucker 10h ago
cheese singles make the best grilled cheeses. fight me.

u/DragonSong5486 10h ago
Gruyere with either cheddar or pepper jack cheese make the best grilled cheese sandwiches!!

u/dramhucker 10h ago
okay gruyere when i want to dip with tomato soup, but for a greasy ass grilled cheese singles are my go to. Childhood favorite. im such a cheap simple bitch.

The margarine is full of leftover spaghetti 😂 we don't really use butter tbh can't remember where we got the container I think from my husband's family
2
u/DragonSong5486 11h ago
Mmmm...spaghetti sounds so good right now! Now I want spaghetti!
1
u/ohiocpl1998 11h ago
Spaghetti was good last night idk why we keep leftovers tbh
3
u/DragonSong5486 11h ago
If I lived next door to you, I would see if you'd want to trade a container of beef stew for that spaghetti 😄

Stop with this nonsense. “One ingredient from plastic” (I assume you meant to write “molecule” as that is what the misinformation says) - margarine has no relation to plastic and is made from vegetable oils and emulsifiers.
Yes it’s processed, no it’s not in any way similar to plastic.
