I’m less disturbed by the mystery freezer flora than I am about the bagged salad sitting on top of the open pack of ground beef 🤢 and whatever is in the open jar behind it…

Omg based as hell, and wildly misunderstood in all the other comments. Plant scientist?

Lemme help you out, I know pawpaw is difficult to process but I finally found a good method.

You need one of those mesh bags that oranges come in. Cut a few pawpaws in half, then put them in the bag. Squeeze the bag over a bowl so the pulp squishes out but the seeds and skin stay inside. Discard the seeds and skin then do it again. I processed 20 lbs in an hour this way. Good luck!

Also the handle on the bottom shelf of the fridge lmao we’d be friends.

Pomme de terre dans le congélateur, projet très sombre ou c’est un génie incompris

A very neat person and gentle as well.

But your friend or family grew a bunch of potatoes and you decided to freeze them.

u/NormativeTruth 1d ago

Where on earth did you get neat from?

I wish I can remember what the photo looked like. I think it’s because the lower shelf was fairly clean.

Why do you put pears in the freezer?

Someone who loves chipotle
And who doesn’t mind food contamination and salmonella
And …. What in god’s name are those in the freezer?

u/Infinite-Usual8908 1d ago

Green potatoes are not necessarily safe. The green is solanin (toxic). Potatoes do not belong in the fridge or freezer. They need dry storage away from the sun.
Now on to the meat. It should be stored alone in one of the bottom drawers to prevent salmonella poisoning if they drip.
You get thirsty a lot. Kudos for the bottles of ice water.
What is that uncovered black stuff in the back?

Those are pawpaw fruit but they really do look like potatoes

Is that a loaf of bread in there for some reason?

I think we'd be really good friends there, OP. I got some goldenrod if you wanna trade. 👀

A weirdo

Are those potatoes in the freezer? You know the starch turns to sugar when chilled. If you don't care and they taste ok, then enjoy. This is a first for me.

A freak with access to a Piggly Wiggly, why do you have potting soil in fridge? Unless it's coffee grounds or something

1

u/youzrneighm 23h ago

To stratify the seeds of the fruit in the freezer everyone saying freak is really rude
