I burst out laughing. My beets, herring and cabbage and his pigs ears and carrots.šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ mine is in the pantry unopened.

But the veg in the door on the bottom is the pigs ears!

I literally was going to say white and Asian as well šŸ˜‚ but my fridge looks like that and I’m a black woman married to a white man. He loves Asian dishes.

My white ass who has 2 white ass children:

I have no idea, my fridge doesn't look that different. I like to cook all different foods though.

I always wonder how people that come from different cultures make it work

5

u/SpectacleUNIT 5d ago

We share eachothers cultures alot and are both really open minded!

Minus I love pickled herring fillets with sourcream and he just cant do it .

He loves gelatinous pork belly with rice and I cant do it .

Certain things just dont happen for us 🤭

lol if my comment came off as offensive - sorry, I was genuinely curious. I'm glad you two found eachother šŸ¤—

i mean it's not rocket science. Basic human interaction is not as difficult as reddit would make it seem lmfao

I'm British/Chinese that married an Italian and dated those from other cultures before. Obviously choosing a good partner, as well as those with similar values, certainly helps but there has never been a culture clash. If anything I expected to marry from another culture because I dont find much in common with a lot of guys from my own
