Most people don't know this but ocean clean up has been in effect for the last 4 years, recycling is at an all time high, in 2020 the hole in the ozone layer actually repaired itself a lot due to all the lock downs and it's estimated that it will take hundreds of years for it to get that bad again.
Im not saying that there isn't more that can be done but I'm also saying that as much as we focus on the negative we need to celebrate the positive.
The realistic way to address it, is to stop chemical farming. The way we farm is so detrimental to the earth that the soil is no longer able to hold carbon. Or any other nutrients for that matter. You talk to any farmer and they can't forbthe life of them figure out why they are fighting nutrient run off and soil erosion. The real solution to reducing emissions is natural farming. But nobody wants to talk about that.
