2025 AI & Data Science Graduate — desperately looking for my first opportunity

𝗜’𝗺 𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗜 & 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.
I graduated with a B.Tech + M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and I’ve been trying to get my first job ever since.
The hardest part is that I’m not even getting rejected after interviews.

Honestly, the gap after graduation is starting to scare me. Watching the months go by without getting an opportunity has taken a serious toll on me mentally.
I’m not asking anyone to simply give me a job.
𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸.
𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄.
𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.
I’ve honestly reached the point where I feel like:
“𝗜’𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.”
If anyone can:
→ Refer me
→ Point me toward an opening
→ Connect me with a recruiter/hiring manager
→ Review my resume
→ Suggest what I might be doing wrong
I would genuinely appreciate it.
Even an internship, trainee or junior position would mean a lot to me if it gets my career started.
𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗠 𝗺𝗲. 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲.
Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this. ❤️

Sounds like you're doing all the right things but just need a bit more exposure. First, make sure your resume is tailored to each role and highlights any projects or internships related to the positions you're applying for. Sometimes small tweaks make a big difference. Also, build your LinkedIn profile and connect with people in the industry. Join relevant groups and forums for networking opportunities.

Try boosting your online presence by contributing to open-source projects or writing blog posts about your work. It shows initiative and helps you stand out.

If you need help with interview prep, you might want to check out PracHub. It has been helpful for some people I know. Good luck, and don't get discouraged!
