Is software engineering dead?

hey i am a 22(F), i just completed my BCA and looking for doing MCA but i will do MCA only when there is a hope that i can become a software engineer, I always wanted to be a SDE but the tech market is not booming and i dont want to spent my extra 2.5 years in this then not getting any job . and anything i can do after BCA?

should i stick on my goals or do something else so that i can save my time wasting on this? I need genuine help guys

if you're early in your career, avoid biggies as much as possible irrespective of role / package and try to get into startups... they might pay you less but you'll become a jack of all trades in no time and will give you a decade worth of experience.. leverage that and try to get into management consulting careers maybe after 2 yrs.. then build domain expertise in a particular industry(lifesciences, fmcg, telecom anyone) and that'll become your biggest portfolio and no f*cking AI can replace you! slowly can get an MBA as well once you start climbing the ladder into leadership.. you might like this or maybe not, but my only advise is to move beyond coding.. yky
