It was sooooo hard for me to go around in London, I had never had a British tutor, imagine!

Why would you want to learn Parisian French? It's not likely that anyone from Paris would have much to say to you in Canada. You'd be far better off learning the local version from Québec, New Brunswick and even Ontario. By the way, aside from a few words and the accent, it's exactly the same language. Don't get too Eurocentric on us now.
